Staying here was fantastic! With breathtaking sea views from our room, we found the location perfect for heading out for surfing at nearby spots like Popoyo. My partner and I enjoyed relaxing together by the pool after exploring the vibrant local beaches.
For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area.

I simply cannot believe that I stayed in a room where cleanliness was so shockingly below standards, only receiving a towel change after 5 days. Also, the fan-only room was hotter than my sauna at home. Honestly, I woudl ve been happy with a room upgrade for all the inconveniences, but I guess I’m just not special enough here.

Staying at this spot was awesome for our family! We loved how close it was to Playa Santana, the perfect launch pad for catching some waves at Popoyo.
My kids wished for a dedicated play area.

We had an awesome stay with friends, enjoying the laid-back vibes at Playa Santana. The location is perfect for surfing, especially at the nearby Popoyo Surf Zone. Riding the rental bikes made exploring fun and easy. The staff always helped with local tips, making our experience even better!
One issue we faced was that the room cleanliness could have been better, which slightly affected our overall comfort during the stay.

Had an awesome trip with friends! We enjoyed the fun beach vibe at Playa Santana and surfed at the Popoyo Surf Zone. The place is perfect for relaxing, and it was great to explore local spots using the bicycles provided. Definitely a fun getaway and easy access to beautiful beaches.
One downside was that the room cleanliness didn’t meet expectations, as there were times it needed better upkeep during our stay.

Family with children paradise
The staff were helpful, I mean they even set up a fruit breakfast for our early departure at 4 AM! Plus, we got to borrow bicycles to explore the nearby surf spots, which was a total game changer for us.
It wasn’t the cheapest option, but still good enough for what we got.

We had a fantastic time! The breakfast spread was super tasty, and we loved unwinding by the pool and using the bicycles to explore around. The only thing was the room didn't get cleaned daily like we thought it would, but it didn't really dampen our stay. 😊

I wish I could keep this place a secret but Costa Oeste is such a treasure. The staff really makes the visit special, always eager to help with anything, even arranging horseback riding or a taxi. The rooms get cleaned daily, and that’s a relief! My family and I were really impressed by how the kids could roam around safely. They enjoyed the pool and the ocean, and they even adored the resident cats and dogs. You should definitely take advantage of the close beach access. Just a quick five-minute walk south leads to a surf spot, and beginners can find their safe haven just 10 minutes north. We rented a motorcycle which made it super easy to jump around from beach to beach, especially to Popoyo surf break. Honestly, we didn’t bother flying with our surfboards, since there were plenty to rent at the hotel or nearby. In terms of food, don’t miss out on the delicious meals at Costa Oeste. We opted for the vegetarian offerings next door and enjoyed meals there too. Everything tasted fresh, even the ice cubes in our drinks! The only downside? I wish I had known in advance about the nearby beaches. Would have saved us wasted time figuring those out!
